The
Principals
David
W. Peterson,
President – CPA, MBA, age 56, is
an experienced executive who has managed public, private, and start-up ventures
focused on technologically advanced products. He has 29 years of combined
experience in public accounting and executive management positions. In 1994,
David co-founded ScriptPro LLC in Mission, Kansas. At ScriptPro, he recruited
the development, manufacturing, and marketing team for a revolutionary automated
prescription-dispensing system that has been successfully installed in national
chain pharmacies and hospital outpatient pharmacies. In October 1998, he
co-founded Compliance Laboratories, LLC and focused on the launch of that
company and its rehabilitation products. He co-founded MedAccuracy LLC in June
2003.
Jim Martin, Vice Presiden t,
Marketing & Sales – BA, age 59,
has more than 30 years of sales, marketing, and general management experience
with large hospital and medical product suppliers. At Baxter Healthcare’s V.
Mueller Division, Jim was recognized as Sales Representative of the year in
1990, Region Manager of the year in 1992. Later, Baxter awarded Jim their
Leadership Award two consecutive years after his promotion to Senior Account
Manager. As Region Director for Allegiance Healthcare, Jim had P&L
responsibility for a $150 million business, was accountable for two large
distribution centers employing approximately 100 workers, and oversaw the
development and success of a 24-member sales team. Jim retired from Cardinal
Health in 2002 and joined MedAccuracy in August 2003.
Kathy Kesler,
Administrative Director -
More than 30 years of experience working with
executives in a wide range of industries. In the
1970s and 1980s, she worked directly with leading
Broadway theatrical producers in New York in all
areas of business assistance. In 1988, she joined
a medical technology company in Kansas City and
became Assistant to the President with personnel
leadership responsibilities. In 2000, she was
hired by Compliance Laboratories, LLC, and was
active in all facets of the company’s operations.
Kathy recently became the Administrative Director
for MedAccuracy when it was formed in June 2003.
Christo pher J.
Thomsen, Vice President Business Development - BS and BA, Christopher has nearly 25 years of
executive level experience with start-ups and public companies in business
development, automation design, and marketing and sales. He was the
Director of Sales & Marketing – North America for Trigon Packaging Systems
of New Zealand before joining ScriptPro in 1994. As
the Director of Trade Relations at ScriptPro, Christopher traveled worldwide building
strategic relationships with governmental agencies, pharmacy boards, and
trade associations. Christopher founded The Thomsen Group
Inc., a
pharmacy automation and technology consulting company, in 2002 and is
considered one of the worlds foremost authorities on pharmacy automation and
technology, has written two books on pharmacy automation and technology, has authored more than two dozen
papers and is a key note speaker for major pharmacy associations around the
globe.
Christopher works with pharmacies and medical
companies and is currently working with ACM Medical Technologies
Inc., an international medical device
development group, in Taiwan. He is a member of the Industry
Advisory Board for the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy
and serves on
the editorial board for Retail Pharmacy Management and
for Business Briefings - US Pharmacy Review. He helped co-found MedAccuracy in 2003.
